Z-Terra Brings on Director of Sales and Marketing

(Houston, Texas) – December 1, 2012

Z-Terra, a provider of depth imaging software solutions and services to the upstream oil and gas industry, has announced Ron Boese as its new Director of Sales and Marketing. Ron Boese, a seasoned sales executive with more than 20 years in management and international sales and marketing experience, will be responsible for developing the sales team for Z-Terra. In addition, he will work to grow the business – particularly in the North and South American market – by interacting with clients and prospects about their current and future needs. Boese will also be responsible for licensing Z-Terra technology to other service providers and processing groups.

Ron Boese joins Z-Terra from Spectraseis, where he was Director of Sales for USA. There he established a sales organization for the Weinman Geoscience Division.

Mr. Boese holds a B.Sc. (1991) in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He began his career in 1991 working for Schlumberger-Geco as a seismic processor and Senior Field Geophysicist. In 1996 he joined Spectrum Geophysical as a Senior Marketing Geophysicist where he helped to grow Spectrum into one of the larger independent seismic processing companies in the industry. In 2002 Mr. Boese joined Fugro-Jason. His roles with Fugro-Jason in Houston, Texas included Sales Manager for North and South America. In 2006 Ron moved to London, England as Business Manager of the Fugro-Jason London, UK office where he hired and managed an integrated technical team of Petrophysicists, Geophysicists, Geologists and Reservoir Engineers providing seismic to simulation services and software to Southern Europe and the Netherlands. In 2009 Mr. Boese joined JOA Oil and Gas as Sales Manager for the Americas. He helped to establish the Jewel Suite Geological modeling software as a preferred tool for modeling unconventional reservoirs in the US. In 2010 the company was acquired by Baker Hughes, Inc. In 2011 Mr. Boese joined Spectraseis as Sales Director in the Houston office.
